Tamatanga is an independent Asian restaurant chain that was established in 2007 and has since been well known for its vibrant atmosphere and fresh, homemade Indian food. The restaurants offer a relaxed, laid-back dining experience with a focus on quality ingredients and authentic flavours.

The Overview

Tamatanga’s busy Leeds restaurant was looking for a way to maintain customer comfort during peak hours without compromising its distinctive interior design. Luckily Thermoscreens were on hand to provide the perfect solution with a compact C Series air curtain, custom colour-matched to the restaurant’s iconic teal branding.

The Challenge

The restaurant needed an effective way to maintain indoor comfort, particularly during busy rush periods when the door was frequently opened, allowing cold drafts to enter. However, any solution had to seamlessly blend with the restaurant’s stylish aesthetic and avoid obstructing natural light from the window above the entrance.

The Solution

Thermoscreens installed a compact, electrically heated C Series air curtain above the restaurant’s entrance. The unit’s slimline design meant it fit neatly above the doorway without blocking natural light, keeping the restaurant a bright and welcoming dining environment.
